RRA Charitable Golf Classic

Location: Ravinia Green Country Club 1200 Saunders Rd, Riverwoods, IL 60015

Time:

• Practice facilities open no earlier than 9am
• All players need to arrive at or before 10am
• Shotgun start at 10:30am
• Event concludes at 6pm after awards ceremony

Expected Attendance: 50-100 golfers

Prior to arrival:

If rental clubs are needed, please work directly with the Pro Shop at Ravinia Green. Accommodations for rental clubs need to be made in advance of arrival.

Collar shirts required, no jeans please.

Upon arrival:

Tournament staff will assist players with their bags and direct them to the registration area. Golf carts are included in the price of the ticket. All golf carts will be labeled with the player's last name. Practice facilities will be open no earlier than 9am for players to warm up. All teams need to be ready to go 15 mins prior to the start time. Complementary grab & go breakfast will be provided along with coffee, juice and fruit cups. The course will be staffed with 2 beverage carts throughout the entire tournament.

Tournament Details:

Format: Shotgun start, best ball style of play to maintain good pace. Each player on the team plays his or her own golf ball throughout the round. On each hole, the closest ball or “best ball” of the group serves as the team score.

Contests & Sponsors:

Throughout the course you will experience vendors sampling delectable treats and libations. We will be conducting 4 contests. Closest to the pin. Longest drive. Straightest drive and Beat the Pro. If a player gets closer to the pin than our PGA professional does, then you win! All awards will be given out after the end of the tournament located at the Cork restaurant.

Awards Ceremony:

All awards will be given out after the end of the tournament located at the Cork restaurant. Complementary taco bar will be provided throughout the awards ceremony. All drinks purchased during the ceremony will directly benefit RRA charity.
