Charitable Causes
The RRA strives to encourage charity in Riverwoods through fundraising to support various charitable causes. Below is a small sample of the things we are able to offer through our fundraising efforts. The money raised goes directly back to our community.
NomCom
Traditionally, the RRA provides funds to the Riverwoods Nominating Committe (NomCom) for use in each election year. These funds are used for publicity, postage, citizen mailings and other NomCom related business. The NomCom was instituted for our small community to seek out, encourage and allow qualified residents to run for village office.
Halloween Event
The RRA hosts this free event for Riverwoods families to come together to enjoy Trick or Treat community fun!
Orphans Of The Storm
The RRA proudly supports Orphans on its mission to find cats and dogs loving parents. See website

Center for Enriched Living
CEL is an amazing organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their hopes and dreams. We are thrilled to support them in helping those with disabilities to be thriving members of their community. See website
Riverwoods Preservation Council
The Riverwoods Preservation Council (RPC) - a 501(c) 3 charitable organization - is focused on helping Riverwoods residents better understand their role in maintaining the unique and beautiful ecology of the Village. See website
